Refund delay

Good day

I was selected for an audit this year for the first time ever. I've handed the documents in 14 July already. The first time I phoned they say I must give it 30 working . 30 working days later still nothing and the file was escalated to a higher a department but they couldn't tell me how long it would take. I've followed up on Monday again this person said it will take another 20 working days... I am in the category for disability and medical claims. At this stage they must finalize the first category and then they will get to the next so I was just told I must wait I am still in the refund queue . currently they are behind with thousands of people's files in the first category

I don't have any guarantee that I will even see this money.
