REACTIVATION OF TAX NUMBER AT SARS

We have been trying to get a tax number re-activated since January 2019, and up until today it still has not been done. We have been to the offices and the query was not resolved, we have tried to make numerous appointments online and through the call centre and no can help us. How can a query take over a year, they refuse to let us speak to a supervisor or manager.
