Poor service and **************

SARS is penalising law abiding taxpayers for not e-filing, when they did not have access to e-filing or was not informed via the correct contact details!!! When i became aware that SARS was looking for me on my previous phone number, i contacted SARS straight away in February! It took SARS several months to give me access to e-filing which increased the penalty unfairly! After several objections against the penalty...SARS ignored all my communications and deducted the penalty off my "disability income'!!! The stress and pressure SARS put on me led to me contracting Covid and being hospitalized for my mental health!!! I am disabled and receiving a non-taxable income and don't owe SARS any money...to be fined for something you did not know of is unfair and i feel SARS is discriminating against disabled people for not taking their circumstances into account!!!
