Please assist

Good Day, I need to know the ffg of which the call center agents nor the branch has clarity on. 1. If someone is a dependent of mine that I am paying medical aid for separately. How far back I can file for ? 2. I have already submitted tax returns but was not aware that I could go back an submit for other years I did not. 3 years has passed. Please advise what I can do.
