No assistance from SARS

I am at my wits-end with SARS. I have been trying to reactivate my tax number for months on end. I have been hung up on by their agents. I've received a number of confirmation emails that I would get assistance and receive feedback and nothing. The worst part is getting both my scheduled appointments cancelled because the agent promised to assist me remotely and insisted that I do not need to go the branch for my particular query. I don't know what to do to get assistance.
