My SARS Worst nightmare

I'm not sure what is your worst experience of SARS. But I'm having the worst time with SARS and it is frustrating.

two years back I've decided to look for an extra income and I got it. I paid text, only up until I needed to file for it all hell broke loose.

SARS told me as far as taxing both companies taxed me correct, but due to their internal process which combines both salaries it puts me at a higher bracken which now result in me having a short fall, now I owe SARS because of that.

As someone who is experiencing this for the first time who was not even trying to cheat tax and neither both companies did something wrong, clearly even them did not know. I've tried to explain to them that surely you can't have punitive measures like this, there must be a way of appealing this and get a discount. Tell you what even the tax ombudsman does not what to get involve in this issue.

SARS have very punitive measures, even when you make a mistake, they charge you, even when that is done by one of their tax practitioners you take the fall. I know people cheat tax, but SARS needs to look at individual cases.

I wish someone can help me to present my case to SARS, the worst part I can't even afford the money they want me to pay. It is there accumulating interest and perhaps one day they will knock at my door to arrest me or sell my assets to recover the money.
