MOST DISGUSTING SERVICE I HAVE EVER COME ACROSS.
Truly the most atrocious service this country has, with absolutely no regard for service in general, let alone customer services.
I had an admin penalty notice last year, in which I paid R750 to SARS, with my compliance status changing to "COMPLIANT" online as well as the app.
From the beginning of February, I have been receiving emails upon emails and SMS's upon SMS's stating I owe them more money for this same penalty which was already dealt with.
Their "call back" feature which they promote online and on calls when on hold is beyond a joke, firstly the option does not even work when attempting to make use of this online, majority of the time and when you do manage to get it to work, they don't even bother calling you back. I provided my details beginning of this month, still awaiting a call back.
How can you advise people of penalties but provide absolutely no assistance when wanting to get it resolved?
This is truly the worst service this country has to offer, I have absolutely no idea what use SARS brings, other than headaches.
These people don't even have the decency to respond and assist to customer complaints on HelloPeter, a public review platfrom, just goes to show how little they care about assisting.
A bunch of money hungry dogs that do nothing for citizens.
I'm starting to understand why some people don't bother paying anything.
Just after 4pm, which might I add is the time they close on a Wednesday, my call was ended as I can only imagine all the available agents decided, it's home time and no further work needs to be done.
I work in the BPO industry and not once have I ever experienced a company refusing assistance, as much as SARS.
Why is the call que not closed at 4pm and the remaining people serviced accordingly?
Trust SARS to decide when they will and won't assist.
