Loooonggg Wait for Tax Refund

I have been waiting for almost 2 months for my Tax refund and every time I phone the Call Center they say it is escalated. It is really frustrating as they give us deadlines and we submit on time. They penalize tax payers for late submissions, but they cannot afford us tax payers the same courtesy. This is UNACCEPTABLE and has now placed me in a very difficult situation. Is this the level of incompetence that manages our country's finances? Please SARS sort this out URGENTLY! You are now impacting my family and my children's education.
