Lerato does a disservice to SARS

Many years ago I tried to submit a dispute through SARS e-filing to request the remission of admin penalties. I did it multiple times on Chrome and then on Edge. Every time when hitting the 'File' button it would just disappear from the screen with no record of it having been filed. Eventually someone at SARS had to 'massage' it through the system on their side while I was doing it. Lo and behold, years later I am assisting my wife to do the same and nothing has changed. You have to think this is a deliberate bug in their system that they are not fixing. So I called the Call Center and spoke to Lerato (case reference ***) and explained this to her. She then asked me what I had already told her, namely that I had tried Chrome and Edge, so I said I have already told you, why are you asking me again. Miss Lerato immediately got defensive and started to chide me like I'm some misbehaved child. Then she simply left me rambling on and left the call. What a piece of work this one is. Stop paying lip-service to your committment to treating tax-payers with respect and dignity SARS and get rid of agents like Lerato.
