Late Estate still not concluded almost 2 years later

I have been receiving failed directives on my father's estate since mid-2018, and have been to SARS in Randburg 5 times to sort out discrepancies in Tax numbers, ID numbers, and duplicate profiles.

Today I was told (for the first time) that the estate is still being processed. Apparently, this department does not confirm turn-around times, and all I can do is keep calling to follow up?!? On top of this, the call centre agent confirmed that the department has been busy with this since September, and its been over two months.
