Inexperienced and Incompetant staff run SARS . They look for every reason to not pay a refund and now the latest objection was that i wasn’t allowed to claim for medical aid expenses paid by me for my unemployed dependents because the bank account been debitted is on the main members name. How do i explain to *********** staff that enough proof was given reflecting payments made by me on behalf of my unemployed dependents. It does not stipulate anywhere on the SARS guidelines that i cannot claim these expenses which i have incurred irrespective of the method in which it is debitted . I supp**** proof and maybe if they were not lazy enough to review the documents i carefully uploaded , we wouldn’t have a problems. Let me not start on how SARS reacts when you owe them money. Pathetic service and extreme incompetence. I am a honest taxpayer who is regularly *****ed by SARS . How do we comply when we always ******????
