Inefficient ...Under deliver...Unprofessional...

On the 13th Nov 23, we went to the SARS Randburg branch to apply for a certificate of Residence. After getting assistance, we were informed that we'd get feedback/confirmation within 21 days. It's now the 4th Feb 2024, we haven't had any feedback from SARS and we have given SARS sufficient time to process the matter.

We've called numerous times to follow up, both with the SARS call center and the complaints center no one can really give us a concrete answer. We've been told the matter has been escalated, another agent said we have to wait another 21 days and hopefully we'll get feedback from SARS in another 21 days.

We have missed out on numerous opportunities due to the delay from SARS. We have possibly experienced the worst service from SARS, the unprofessional manner in which our matter is being dealt with!

Our form is on someone's desk and we are at that person's mercy!

Can our matter please prioritized, we have waited long enough!!
