People are flattering SARS on their excellent processes. WHAT A FLOP!<br> I have been a tax payer and submitted my tax return for 6years to date.<br> In 2010 when I first submitted my return I owed SARS R2400 which I paid back (proud South African), submitted in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 with no returns due to me, and I never disputed(still proud South African).<br> In 2015, I submitted my tax return on the 1st July 2015 and for the 1st time in history there was money due to ME. People raved and praised once again on how quick SARS pays after submission. A month later and I called to follow up and I was provided useless excuse, another month went by and I followed up again and only after two months it was raised that 'I HAVE THREE 2009 IRP5's OUTSTANDING'.<br> I have been submitting my tax return for the past 5years and nothing was raised to my attention only after 6years.<br> I then took it upon myself to contact the companies in question as per above pending IRP5's, and it took me a while to get them as they had to go through their archives to source the IRP5's.<br> Finally, I submitted and NOW the is correspondence and assessment required and it takes 30working DAYS!<br> WHAT AN EPIC PROCESS FAIL!!!
