INCOME RETURNS

July 02, 2015 i submitted my returns income with IRP5 as supporting documents and they were sent back with a query about the assessment period and the matter was handed over to audit, on the July 22, 2015 the returns were resubmitted with amended IRP5, on the July 30, 2015 a letter stating the completion of auditing and amount due to me but also the same letter indicated an further auditing and additional 60 days to be expected.<br> August 13, 2015, i went back to SARS Edenvale to get clearance on what was happening and why was a such delay but the consultant indicated that they were not in the position to explain or do anything rather than escalate which i found it rather disappointing that they can hold my funds without any explanation to allow me to attend any outstanding matter that is causing such delay furthermore up to date i'm still left in the dark and neither the funds are transfer into my account.
