I am a first time offender or not submitting my returns on time. I have always had my returns submitted and my employer submitted the forms(IRT12) last year straight to SARS. Now, you guys are taking R1500 from my tax return which I should be getting and a first time offender but you go take that much after so many years clean and paying tax.Then I wonder why some people run away from tax because this demotivating. Basically you just took money that was over taxed to me, which not a problem when done by your employer because it will come back, instead SARS comes and takes it. Ontop of that, now I have to wait for you to take your time calculate and pay whatever is left and you do not give a time period for that. But you were quick and heartless to take R1500 and not giving me time or bother to check if you understand how to submit returns since you have always been clean and you did it yourself in previous years. Please retract those penalties or half them
