Don't want to pay my refund

Last year November I got a message from SARS to say there s a penalty I need to pay. So I logged in to my account and was prompted to complete my tax return for 2019 till 2022, which I did. I then got a statement of account to say I have a refund due to me but It was sent for an audit. I have been waiting for 3 months now for that audit to be completed, its like they finding ways to not pay my refund and I'm now just fed up with them!!!! How much longer do I have to wait, it's 2023 already??
