DISGUSTING SERVICE AT SARS ROODEPOORT HORIZON!!!!!!!!!

The service at SARS Roodepoort totally an utterly disgusting. I recieved an SMS last week to submit my tax returns and I have not been working full time since last year so I decided to go online and register which I completed the process online and now all that I needed to do was to submit my IRP5.

I went to the bank to have it printed for me which opens at 8 and then went to SARS offices. I am 8.5 months pregnant so upon seeing the long queue outside I decided to go and ask the nearest queue marshal/assistant/security guard and I was told I must go and stand at the back of the queue and this queue was all the way out of the centre. The friday before this I was admitted into hospital and told that I need to take it easy with the amount of movements I am making up and down.

I arrived at SARS and after seeing the queue and realizing myself that I can not stand in this queue as I will be placing strain on myself and my baby I decided to go and ask the securities for help. All I wanted to ask was if I could perhaps submit my IRP online and they told me "YOU ONLY ARRIVE NOW SO YOU WANT TO ASK QUESTIONS PLEASE GO STAND IN THE BACK OF THE QUEUE!" I repeated again that I acknowledge the fact that I arrived after 8 and this was due to the abovementioned reason all I wanted to do was to ask a question I even mentioned that I am8.5 months pregnant I can not stand in the I can hardly stand on my own two feet for over 30 mins. The security again lashed out at me and told me that there is someone standing in the back helping all the people asking questions I must go and stand at the back of the queue and not even ask this person but rather go right past him and go wait at the back until he gets to me so that I can ask.

This was really disheartening. I was barely given the opportunity to just make a simple enquiry I was even willing to wait in the queue but the way I was treated was like an animal. There was no common decency in the way the situation was handled.

I am appalled at this... People do not get treated like this If I were to go into labor in that queue I would have probably still been told to go and stand as I was not even given the respect of asking a simple question.

I eventually spoke to this queue marshal as I walked up to him and he somehow assisted me but also did not give me any relevant information.

I hope I get a response on this matter as I am really not going to stop here with this I know there is a hierarchy and I will keep climbing it until this review gets an appropriate response!
