Disappointing Service from SARS

The experience to get my 2024 tax return finalized has been extremely frustrating this year. In summary, the rerun was filed in late July, supporting documents were requested and promptly submitted. The matter was selected for audit but after the 21 days lapsed, the same documents were requested from me. After various calls, I was told my matter has been escalated and that I should expect a call. To my disappointment, when I called again on the 30th of August, the agent indicated she could see no escalation on file.

No clear way forward or commitment to resolve my matter may calls later.
