Delay tactics

I have submitted my return and was told I have been selected for audit. I submitted my supporting documents and had no response. I then had to go to their offices personally to submit my documents because e-filing is slow. Then I received a call to submit more documents which I did and a week later was told its back in queue and have to wait for 30 more days. When I called I was told that their is a possibility that I might not get the refund because by me trying to do the right thing means nothing to this countries government and they actually want people to be a liability to them.
