Delay in refund

I am appalled by Sars level of service I recently filed for my return in October 30th for 2017 and 2018 I had all the documents they needed from the medical aid tax certificate proof of bank details etc and I was not asked for any other further documents. I received an sms stating that my refund due date is on the 2018/11/30 I haven't received the payment up till today I contact the call center numerous of times even sent a complaint mail regarding this and the answer I got is that my tax period for 2017 is selected for audit they need to start with 2018 before 2017. Question is why send a misleading notification that my due date for payment is on the 2018/11/30 if they know they gonna give me the run around. The funny thing is its gonna be another year of waiting who knows how long maybe till the next tax season. The way we are hassled and penalized when we don't fill.
