Deducting money

SARS is deducting penalties owing to them via IT88. We managed to submit the outstanding returns and all penalties were waivered and remedied but SARS is still deducting money. Whenever we call/consult at the branch, they say that the investigation is pending. What are you investigating? We submitted all that was required and you waived all penalties. SARS said it would take 21 days. It is now past the 21 day period and from what I was told by a SARS agent, 21 days could also lead to indefinitely. This means that SARS will deduct money indefinitely until they are satisfied with their 'investigations'. Its ludicrous!
