Customs Charge Error!

An aunt from the UK sent us a gift for our baby. Customs evaluated the gift as less than R400. Based on this we were sent a letter to pay customs tax of R302.

We went to the post office to explain that this must be an error, and left a response letter with them. It has been 3 months, and we still have not received a response. Please help!
