Can not even sort out a query in 21 days

Recent years no problem but apparently I have two tax numbers so without my knowledge they deactivated my tax number. I had to go to a SARS office, sat there for more than 5 hours only to be told I will be activated in 21 days. The 21 days is officially over today and when I called they did not even touched the query yet. The consultant informed me she will escalate the query but there is not turn around time on this so it can take forever!!! If I don't submitted my tax in time SARS can fine me but I can't do any I must wait! IT RIDICULOUS!!! HOW LONG MUST I WAIT?!?!?
