Bad Service

<p>My mom and I visited SARS at the Randburg branch as she needed a tax number for her retirement policy to be paid to her. Somehow that policy number was de-activated and given to someone else who was born in 1920. This person has been submitting returns and making use of that number. Suddenly my mom has a huge amount owing to SARS even though that tax number was deactivated and given to someone else. The lady at SARS (Tshidi) said that she will be requesting the file which is sent from Pretoria and advised that a case will be logged. She advised that she will provide feedback and when we called SARS they advised that the case was never logged. My mom's policy will be maturing on the first and up until now she does not have a tax number. Can someone please help???????</p>
