Are we still plagued by the inefficiencies of the past at SARS ?

I have followed up on the "auditing" of my tax for the 2018 year. My documents were provided on 7 August immediately after SARS requested them. Had to phone in 4 times and still only the standard answer: We will escalate your case and ask the consultants to call you, which needless to say never happens. There does not seem to be anything complicated on my tax matters. I can only deduct it is delaying tactics when money is owed to clients. My case numbers: ********** 66; ********** 92; ********** 126; ********** 43. Does SARS really want us to be loyal, law abiding citizens???
