Aggressive treatment

I had a really terrible experience at SARS PAARL BRANCH yesterday. 23rd may 23 about 3:30pm we were number 88 in line. When my number was called I didn't know what I was going to receive and go through this day. I'm clinical diagnosed and suffer with PTSD. We walked to a counter where a large clrd man was sitting waiting for my husband and I, I smiled and said that over the years we have struggled to pay the tax and we would like to find away to settle and start off fresh and I require help filling in these forms. I have never seen such anger in a person's eyes his eyes was bulging and literally sweat on his face as if he had a personal issue with us. This man started attacking me for what I put down as a salary and told me in not a very kind way that it's impossible. I then explained that as it shows on my bank statements that is an average (mean) he continued raising his voice saying but it's impossible. I looked at this man very confused because I could not believe what I'm hearing. Then after he goes on about my business IS NOT A COMPANY I am a sole preprioter and I have not done my taxes since 2019. In utmost shock as I know I have a PTY business and I know my accountant that I pay monthly sends me my financial statements yearly. At this point I could feel my anxiety going through the roof I had to get out of there before I had a panic attack infront of everyone. I asked the man so how do I solve this problem. He taps on pamphlet and tells me to read the pamphlet. This man was extremely aggressive and rude. We left, my husband had to stop on side of road as I was having a fit. I actually should lay charges as I have the right too with my clinical documentation. I thankfully did not land up in hospital but had to take a day off of work today to recover from what I just experienced. We called our accountant, we got home to get out ou yearly documents and low and behold we are certainly a PTY business and we certainly have done our tax returns for the business every single year. I do not know what is wrong with that man at Sars but either his ***ist or ****** or has a personal issue with us or he really shouldn't be sitting on that seat assisting people with that kind of aggression an d lack of knowing what his even talking about. I trust this person will be dealt with because I have sat at Sars many times I have never been treated in that manner by anyone. I would kindly like some feedback on how this situation will be handle. I thank you for your time. S. Cox
