3 Months to sort out queries?

I have been back and forth to try and sort out my tax return. Finally objection - I have to wait 30 working days. Then I am told no it takes 60 working days. No I am told 16 December to 15 January doesn't count - Is this place serious??? You are given dates to submit and everytime they query something you have to rush and get it done but they take 3 months to sort one thing out - it's pathetic!!
