2 Months and No Refund yet, absolutely crazy

I have been waiting over 2 months now to get my refund processed. I have spoken with SARS officials over the phone over 20 times now to try and get this moving along, but all they tell me is to wait another 21 days. They asked me to send my logbook again which I already submitted on the initial return. Then they asked me to verify my bank details. I am still waiting and waiting, every time they request something they push it back another 21 days. It is simply crazy at this point. I am in between jobs and desperately need the money in order to pay my bills and debts and every time I speak to a SARS official they do not care and just tell me to wait. How can it be that they will completely f**k you up for not paying them but when they must pay you there is nothing that can be done except hope they look at it. I cant believe it has to take over 2 months just for them to get these things done, it's unbelievably pathetic service and just goes to show how they do not give a damn about paying people what they owe.
