I've been waiting for my refund from SARS from October 2024, Everytiime time I call doing a follow up I get different responses.On 07 January 2025 I called,the agent I spoke to said the refund has been processed and I should get it in 48-72 hrs .. nothing happened & I called on Fridat10 Jan '25 yesterday,the agent said they are still reviewing my file I don't know how many times I've been caiSARS since October 2024 I've never received the same response.One agent even said I need to deposit R1000 that I owe SARS which I did last year in December, when I called after that the agent I spoke to that day said I wasn't supposed to deposit that money . I'm so disappointed with SARS I wish I can talk to someone who can tell me really what's the story.Some have been saying they're escalating the issue to seniors I think + - 4 times.This is surprising because SARS doesn't give you a chance ,they dive into your salary & take whatever they want The 21 days waiting period they told me about is long gone it's even another year now.I feel so abused by SARS they're using their powers to violate my rights because that refund is my money but I'm being tossed from pillar to post.
