Training Academy seems to have disappeared with my money!

<p>I app**** to do my NQF5 through SAREA (South African Real Estate Academy) and was immediately sent invioce for payment. I had to pay upfront in full in the amount of R15,000.00 </p> <p> </p> <p>I went through to the first 2 courses each 3 days long. On the third course, I was unfortunately unable to attend due to illness and contacted them immediately to advise. I was told they would reschedule me (This was 12th September 2016) and that I should just send an email so that they could come back to me. </p> <p> </p> <p>I sent an email straight away, and heard nothing back. I sent another one shortly after where they rep**** that they would come back to me regarding same. </p> <p> </p> <p>I didn't hear anything from them, and emailed again in October. Again heard nothing and emailed in November. After hearing nothing again I called in and was told they'd get back to me.</p> <p> </p> <p>I sent another two follow up emails and no one came back to me. I tried calling in mid-January and got a message saying they were closed for the holidays and would re-open on the 9th (It was already about a week after that) I sent another email as well as posted on their Facebook page and still have heard nothing back. </p> <p> </p> <p>I requested a refund for the balance of my course and still have heard nothing more. </p> <p> </p> <p>It all sounds very fishy to me, and I am extremely frustrated with the lack of service, come back and the fact that I have paid in full for something that clearly is not going to materialise. </p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
