You get punished for rejected claims

My homeowners insurance is currently with Santam, and I recently got a call stating that apparently my loss ratio is very high, and in order to lower this, Santam will increase my premium with 10%, and add an additional R1500 excess to any claims I may have. To date I have had only 3 property related claims, of which all were rejected. The only exception was the last claim which was water damage to my roof, where Santam said I have to replace my entire roof out of my own pocket, and they will cover repainting the ceiling and walls that attained water damage.
How do you justify increasing the monthly premium and claim excess if you reject all the claims anyway???

I thought insurance a two way street, you pay them monthly and if you need their help, they are there to help you... Santam is a one way street, only there to make you pay, and when you need their help, they say no and then they make you pay even more for daring to approach them in a time of need.
My broker is currently fetching quotes from other insurers.
