Worst insurance very ********* behavior

worst experience with Santam i do not recommend.....

My car was in a hit and run on the N2 on the 23rd of August 2024, Santam sent out a field technician to evaluate the car by the name of Anthony. Anthony crossed questioned us on the details of what happened which was all fine and well, the part that i am upset with is that Anthony then handed me a document to sign which in his words gave him access to request the police report and the footage from city of cape town, I then found out that Anthony started to track my whereabouts on a daily basis interviewed my Neighbours, cross questioned my 80 year old grandmother and went to my place of work to cross question my manager all this without my knowledge i feel i have been deceived by this Anthony guy who also harassed me on a phone call I then proceeded to call his manager who covered up for his aggressive nature and said that i signed the document that gave him the right to investigate Santam has now declined my claim. i will no longer be making use of their services as all my assets are covered by them.

i have never heard of anyone going through this with an insurance company to anyone out there reading this i would appreciate any recommendations for a new insurance company
