Worse insurance company ever

I hereby would like to warn all new & current Santam clients. This business has lost its touch. It is no longer what it used to serve to its clients. Stay as far as possible from them. Seek new insurance companies. There's more than enough in SA. Do not wait till you get a bad experience from them. Cancel and leave them now whiles all is still in good order. Why ?

1. I opened a legal cover with Santam 5 years ago. 3 years down the line. I placed a claim with them and only to be told that we cannot assist you because my claim is too small. All they had to do was to take legal action on a matter that was simple as making contact with the people who owed me money which they failed to do that. I closed and cancel it only because if I was behind bars or in prison I felt they were going to run into circles instead of getting into the matter to show that they are indeed a legal cover and if defeated then so be it but would have tried they utmost best to rescue me put 9f the situation. Instead I got a very rude legal consulted who never had people skills, let alone being professional for that matter. Now in March I cancel or should I say they cancel my membership with them after have questioned them for increasing my premium from 2.2k to 2.7k. Only to find out that I was not supposed to claim when our home caught up fire as the result should have never claimed but went and stayed in a informal settlement even though I was a membership since 2013 till 2024. Long story short, all clients needs to cancel their membership with Santam. If you need to know why, can dm me .
