Wonderful service from Santam via their Road Assistance helpline!

We tried numerous times to jumpstart my car with another vehicle, but there was no success. I contacted Santam via their Road Assistance helpline and spoke to Colin, a representative who was very helpful and understanding. Within minutes, Colin called me back to say that he'd arranged a call-out which would be there in 20 minutes, traffic permitting.

I duly received SMSs from Santam, with the technician's name (Nathan) and a description of his vehicle and contact details. Nathan contacted me shortly afterwards to confirm my address and told me he'd arrive shortly, which he did.

Minutes later, my car was up and running. The call-out service, including an hour's labour was free with my insurance policy.

Approximately an hour later Colin called me to find out if everything was fine - I told him it was and that I had already purchased another replacement battery.
