We dealt with Maurisha Pikaan *** The lady that was handling our matter did not seem very kind or patient. I felt her instructions/ communication were not very clear, especially for someone who has never been in that situation before. When I followed up she just said I should “Ask Charles” which was in fact incorrect information given by the assessor. Since the assessor is hired by Santam I believe she should have taken the necessary care to clarify with the assessor or advise me as a claimant that the assessor negotiated a new amount and the dealership said they are willing to fix the car for that amount. Maurisha did the absolute bare minimum, she does not care to elaborate clearly and is not willing to do better for better client experience. Maybe she could benefit from client skills.
