Very, very slow and frustrating...

Why is Santam taking so long to process my request for a revised quote to my existing insurance policy. My request is definitely not out of the ordinary. In brief my request includes revising the household contents to 390k, revising the sum insured for the Corolla, which is over insured, 'all risks' specified items remain as is, and to include for buildings insurance cover (new) and include for cover for my wife’s car (new). In addition to this, the existing policy is apparently up for review in June 2018. To avoid the process of receiving a new quote now and then having to revisit everything again in June, which is less than 2 months from now, I requested that the quote provided to me now (for that noted above) should please be appropriately updated and be valid for 12 months i.e. the premium need only be looked at again 12 months from now in 2019. To assist Santam I went in to Darrenwood Toyota who provided me with industry standard vehicle valuation tables (trade in value & retail value), which was then subsequently e-mailed through to Santam. After several phone calls to Santam about providing me with a revised quote "for everything" and after providing Santam with TransUnion vehicle values as provided me by Darrenwood Toyota, Santam appear to be stalling and all that is happening is that I am becoming an expert in answering your security questions on the phone. This delay is messing us around because policy cancellation notices need to be provided by both my wife and me to the existing buildings insurance insurer and the insurer of my wife’s car, should we opt to proceed (with Santam). This delay is causing us frustration and may result in subjecting us to a longer delay before we are permitted to cancel/move insurers. Please can you urgently address to my request? (Please Note: the last e-mail dealing with same was mailed to Santam 10 April 2018, the Subject line is my policy number. Generally speaking I’m available on our landline with voice recorder if absent, on my mobile, by sms and whatsapp and also e-mail).
