Value added service

I have two vehicles insured with Santam, one of which being a Motorcycle. I found myself in a situation where I needed roadside assistance one evening. I called my insurer and I found out for the 1st time on that call that the motorcycle is not included in the "value added services". So I had to pay a tow truck to load my bike and take it home. I find it baffling as to why a bike would be towed and car would? Very disappointed that Santam could not explain this to when i was signing up because I asked when I was signing up. So I am going to be looking for a new home.
