Utterly disgusting and unacceptable service

I recently had an extremely disappointing encounter with Santam. From the start, the level of service provided is shockingly poor, leaving me feeling frustrated and dissatisfied. We logged a claim on the 5th of February already and up until now this claim hasn’t been finalised. An towing company who is on Santam’s group panel fetched the car at our mechanic without any permission and took it to a company on their panel where the car was further damaged and some of the interior accessories was removed without our knowledge and to date no communication was received about these accessories nor was returned to us. This is utterly disgusting and unacceptable, we as a client of Santam needs to trust them but then the car is returned with more damage than it was before. They take no pride in their work nor try to assist.

First and foremost, communication with the service provider was abysmal. The responses were vague and unhelpful.

Furthermore, the quality of the service itself was subpar.

To make matters worse, the attitude of the staff was dismissive and unprofessional. Instead of taking accountability for their shortcomings, they seemed indifferent to my frustrations and offered no meaningful solutions or apologies.

Overall, my experience with Santam was nothing short of a nightmare. I would strongly advise anyone considering their services to proceed with caution and explore alternative options. With such a lack of competence, professionalism, and respect for customers, it's clear that this provider has a long way to go before they can be considered reputable or reliable.
