Useless Santam insurance stay away

How on earth can this useless insurance be rated the best in South Africa, what the hell were the raters assessing when they decided that this company is the best? I am insured by this no good insurance for my house, house hold and vehicles, I logged a claim on the 1st of July due to bust pipe, it took this company 3 days before they could appoint a plumber to come and repair, I was literally without water for 3 days, I could not cook, do laundry or any other thing that needs water, my broker Retang Tladi told me to buy take outs and use laundry services and keep the receipts as Santam would pay for that, guess what I did just that and when is was time for payment the same broker sings a different song. After 3 days some plumbers come over and repair, two days later the damage is worse, so basically I have been without water since the 5th July, so I decide to get someone to temporarily make repairs until Santam can come on board, he charges me R650 labour per hour and I buy some part worth less than R70. I send this information to my broker, yesterday he texts me informing me that they are paying me some money for me to repair the damage myself, I mean why have an insurance if in time of need you must sort yourself out, he is now pushing me to accept the money, this company is useless, Gregory Khan who according to the messages I have received from Santam is suppose to be my claims service consultant and according to the sms I received on the 5th he was suppose to be in touch with me shortly, I haven’t heard from him until today, I have wasted more that R110 worth of airtime calling Santam in order to talk to him but guess what he is never available, requested his manager and my request fell on deaf ears, as we speak all this people are enjoying warm showers this winter and as for me and my family we are experiencing cold winter showers and nobody cares. This is a useless insurance and I don’t advice anyone to be insured with them.
