Useless home insurance

PATHETIC! Lodged a claim for a water leak. The plumbers came out quickly, but the need to wait for a carpenter to remove a kitchen cupboard in order to get to the leaking pipe. Water is shut down and for almost 24 hours we are still waiting! Santam is absolutely USELESS when it comes to building insurance and I would suggest that clients do NOT use them at all. Rather go to someone reliable and to people who actually do their work, not sit on their hands.
