Useless claims card

After always recommending Santam, and always had good things to say, it is with sadness that i have to write this review, after the claims assessor allocated to me can clearly not give a damn. My cellphone was ******, and Santam paid out on a credit like card to buy a replacement. The options are limited to where it can be used. After trying takealot, they told me that only 1 voucher can be added to the sale as i have to add money to buy a phone, seeing as the paid out amount does not cover the cost. I then tried istore after it clearly states that you can buy on istore. Only to find out, after i bought 2 vouchers, that it can not be used online but only in an actual istore. No seeing as my closest store is ****m away, there is no way i can get to a store, and am now stuck with the vouchers as istore does not give refunds. How are people outside of main cities suppose to be assisted! I will not be insuring my items or car with Santam after this issue is done. I will not accept that i have lost thousands. I will not recommend Santam any longer, they used to care, they dont any more. Stay away. That beautiful add on the tv is a lie, they are just as useless as most of the other insurers.
