Unreasonable delay - frustrated client

On 17th of November 2016, a Thursday evening, my insured vehicle was broken into and the passenger door and ignition tampered with. I was unable to drive the vehicle and suffered inconvenience with the loss of my valuables too.

On the 18th of November 2016- I dutifully reported the incident to my broker: WIllie Du Plesis brokers- ********** - and was assited by Alecia.

I have been sans vehicle to this point and when I called Interstate Body Works they explained that the delay was due to Santam requiring photographs of the damaged locks - this inspite of the fact that their assessor had previously taken photographs. The locks have some material in their internals that is preventing a key from being inserted and this evidently does not appear on the images and is causing Santam some consternation as the authorisation to proceed with the remedy has not been forthcoming.

I hereby appeal to which ever authority can accelerate this service. Thank you and God bless.
