Unfulfilled Repairs

After having my insurance with this company for eight years and not claiming from them , an unfortunate incident occured and I was involved in the accident, it was not my fault at all . However my vehicle sustained damaged to the front and the panel beaters recommended spares to the damaged parts including head light for the left side which had a bad scratch mark. , the hooter also worked intermittently and needed replacement. Santam however considered these as not essential and these were not replaced in my vehicle. This to me is utterly ridiculous as the reason why we pay insurance is keep our vehicle if damaged in a new condition. It seems to me that Santam does not offer this kind of service and are always twisting their terms to avoid payment to necessary repairs to suit themselves. My intention now is to terminate my contract with them.
