UNFAIR TREATEMENT BY SANTAM_I NEED MY CAR TO BE ASSEMBLED AFTER IT WAS DISSEMBLED TO DISREPAIR AND REPUDIATION
Today marks 1 year after I has a car incident in Piet Retief driving back from KZN. After the incident my car started overheating. Santam advised me to take the car for assessment. It took about 3 months to come up with the decision and they came back with repudiation. I left my car in a drivable state and while assessing Santam dissembled my car to a point of disrepair and when I fetched it many major parts were missing. They only offered about R7.5K to get a mechanic to assemble the car. I do not think that I am responsible for this and the offer is too small to get a mechanic who can put the engine back together at that price. And now a lot of parts are missing. I went through NFOSA bus Santam would bulge. I am currently pursuing private litigation but they still take their own time to respond.
