Unfair claim by Santam
I have been insured with Santam over the past 4 years with Policy no *** , household insurance, 2 cars and company insurance but canceled it last year due to Covid. I lost my job in 2019 but up to so far I have managed to maintain my monthly premium every month but now my car Audi Q5 has been ****** on the 8th January and I didn't have a tracker and to my surprise Santam is only paying me 20% of the total cover because they claim that my car is a high risk and that tracker is a must, I have a broker who I feel that in the past 4 years he never sat down with me to make sure that indeed I'm fully covered with a tracker and that when I was taking my car in for inspection couldn't they notice that I don't have a tracker,
I feel so betrayed by the company I trusted and without monthly salary I fought to pay the premiums in case of emergencies like this but instead they feel that it's best for them to save the company money on my expense. I am not working so what do I do with R31 000 instead of the R150 000 of the car I have been paying for years, I claimed only once in the past 4 and half years. Hello Peter please assist
