TOTALLY AND UTTERLY DISGUSTED!
On 11 Feb, one of your clients drove into the back of my wifes vehicle. Everything was done as requested by Santam, Case number, 3 x quotes, a statement, photos, the works! Now, A MONTH LATER, after being sent from pillar to post, because the first lady went on maternity leave (Mbali Mxokiswa), another lady took over for a few days, then I was sent to Robyn Job, who, after telling me that an assesor was doing a'desk top' assesment, and a settlement amount was going to be made within 10 working days. After phoning, I was told by Innocent that Robyn is on leave, and will only be back on Thursday, but he will take the matter upon himself to get this sorted out. I gave him the benfit of the doubt, as he told me that he will have an answer for me today! Guess what?I had to phone Innocent myself to follow up, and I got the age old excuse that 'I am actually draughting up a settlement offer for approval, and will send it to you now'. When asking hiom what the offer is, he then tells me that the vehicle will be written off, as the damage is more than market value?!?! How the hell to you get to that, if an assesor never looked at the car but only at photos? How is Santam allowed to do this??
