Santam, insurance good and proper ... so they say. Worst decision ever made . *********** staff who don't stick to times and don't communicate with you about the claim, you will have to call in so many times before anyone even calls you back. They get evaluators to come and over price your items in your house so that they can decrease the pay . And even after they are aware that you taking the matter further they still pay you out the decrease amount for the claim despite my husband and I not signing for the money. I can't wait for this matter to be resolved and cancel this insurance. More headache and time wasted then peace of mind.

We believe you have raised your concerns previously and this matter had been addressed by one of our managers already.
We believe the client service manager of Durban branch has requested a meeting with yourself to discuss your concerns and to come to an agreement, but we believe this appointment never took place.
If you are unhappy about the value at risk calculated by the appointed assessor, you are welcome to get an independent company or person in to do an inventory of the contents and provide us with same, where after we can review and reconsider.
