TOTAL *******!!!

Im deeply dissapointed with the sevice I've received from Santam.The 2nd of march I purchased the new Polo vivo and I needed proof of insurance, so I went to the santam offices. I spoke to a gentleman...who told me my premium will be increasing from R775 to R1285, and then proceeded to make a comment "well if you want to drive laani cars you must be prepared to pay" I worked hard for my car and was prepared to save up more for my premium increasing. Also, my previous car was sold and I still paid my insurance, he told me if I e-mailed the paid up letter "Natis" they would then deduct it from my first premium on the new car.I did all of that, my first installment on the new car gets deducted and its an amount of R 1809!!! I then send them an e-mail quering the amount deducted, no response, I phoned the santam offices after a week, as nobody got back to me...Lady expained to me well how its works is a double deduction happens as I have to pay in advance!!Advance for what??? I ONLY HAD THE CAR FOR A MONTH!!!She says that this was explained to me...and it most certainly was not...as I would not have queried it if I knew this!!!She also then told me that the amount they were going to reimburse me with,they already have...the insurance was actually going to deduct R2570, and that's why only R1809 was deducted.My question is what if I had not had that amount of money in my account???...I already am paying quite a bit for my vehicle and to be ********** by my insurance is RIDICULOUS!!!I've had a bad experience with an insurance before, and my parents recommended Santam, and because they gave such a good review, I was willing to pay a little bit more, not knowing they would deduct such a huge amount that was not agreed upon. The agent I was talking to, we were going back and forth,because I needed answers, she eventually said well she would get Hakeem or Gakeem to phone me back, up until today, nobody got back to me!!!No responses to my e-mails.Deeply dissapointed in Santam *********** hard working people!!I thought they are the best insurance...Clearly not!!!Maybe its time to look for a new insurance!!!
