Third Party Liabilities (Divania Chetty)
We've had the unfortunate experience of being told by Divania in your Third Party Liabilities department that our consistent follow ups and requests for timelines are 'irritating'. She further felt the need to inform us that she considers us to be too small a company and we should refrain from calling and send emails instead.
Our emails also go unanswered. This, as told by Divania, is because Santam is currently understaffed and unable to get through all email queries. She also felt the need to mention that each person has a book value of about 700 claims.
We have clients that we are obligated to keep updated regularly on these matters and as such we believe we have the right to follow-ups.
In addition, it seems your staff does not mind having matters litigated even though this route negatively impacts your clients.
I cannot begin to describe how appalling and disappointing this treatment such a prestigious entity as Santam is.
