Third Party claim: No assistance

I am the recipient of a third party vehicle damage claim submitted through Santam. The following is an outline of events:

Santam Claim ref: ********** 959

1. On 06.06.2017 was provided with the Third Party Release forms after your assessor had finalized his process.

The assessor's estimate and subsequent third part release agreement was lower than the quotation provided by the service provider. I queried this with Santam in order to get feedback on whether this lowered amount was accepted by the service provider, and received no feedback. I had to act as middleman between Santam and the service provider, as Santam did not respond to my queries.

2. On 25 July 2017 I returned the signed documentation required for payment. No feedback was received.

3. On 31 July 2017 I followed up again and requested feedback on the progress of the claim payout. No feedback was received.

4. on 02 August 2017, I again followed up and requested feedback. No response from Santam.

5. On 03 August I sent and email to Santam consultants dealing with my case and included whom I presume would be the supervisor of the consultant responsible for my case. These contact details were included in the email signature of the consultant. This email was undelivered, and I still have not received feedback from Santam consultant.

The non-responsive rate of Santam legal department is appaling!! This is the worst service I have ever received from anyone in the Insurance industry.
